What is a cookie?
We use cookies to help us understand how you use our website. They are small text files which are downloaded to your device when you visit our website. How do we use cookies?
www.webbstrategy.co.uk is built using Wix software, which uses two types of Cookie:
Session (Transient) cookies: these cookies are erased when you close your browser, and do not collect information from your computer. They typically store information in the form of a session identification that does not personally identify the user.
Persistent (Permanent/Stored) cookies: these cookies are stored on your hard drive until they expire (i.e based on a set expiration date) or until you delete them. These cookies are used to collect identifying information about the user, such as Web surfing behaviour or user preferences for a specific site.
Our workshop booking engine is powered by Eventbrite, a ticketing and registration platform and their Cookie Statement can be viewed here.
We also use Google analytics on our site. These are analytical or performance cookies which collect information about how people use our website, to help us improve the user experience. These cookies collect information about how people use our website eg. which pages visitors use most often, how they navigate between page, which device they are using. They don’t collect information to identify an individual visitor - the information is aggregated and anonymous.
